Welcome to East Unaka Christian Church

East Unaka Christian Church is a part of a world-wide fellowship of congregations known simply as Christian. We welcome all who seek faith, hope, and joy through Christ and His church. We believe that here you can find an accepting, caring, nonjudgmental spirit. In Christ, lives are transformed, faith is renewed, and God’s power for positive living is found.

Experience renewal through being with God's family as we gather to worship and praise Him this Sunday.

We worship with music, prayer, teaching, and Communion. Our Sunday morning service is for those who are learning to be Christian. Our sermons have life implications and teach us how Christ wants us to be His. After the service, we have classes that help reinforce Christ's teachings.

Conflict

Are you suffering from personal hurt? Perhaps you've been neglected, ignored, embarrassed, abandoned, rejected, divorced, overlooked, forgotten, insulted, criticized or slandered.

Bitterness and anger in your life will steal your joy and perhaps even cost you your soul.

Let's talk about it this Sunday at 9:45 at East Unaka Christian Church, 1201 E. Unaka Avenue, Johnson City.

From The Gospel of Matthew 18:15-20 I will be teaching on "How Christians Handle Conflict".

3. How did your parents settle fights between you and your siblings?

     4. Identify the stages of the reconciliation process.

5. What obstacles will frustrate the process?

6. Why not go public immediately?

7. Have you or do you know of anyone who has followed this process.  What were the results?

8. How do you get up the courage to confront?

9. When you get up the courage to confront, how do you avoid being vindictive or hurtful?
