Theme: Mediocrity is deadly

A halfhearted commitment won't glorify God, stimulate faith or produce any miracles. God does not demand that you be exceptionally talented. He simply asks that you be available, teachable, and faithful.

1. Identify some of the reasons Christians give for avoiding using what God has given them for the benefit of others.

2. Jesus could have said the word and provided more wine. What is the significance of the servants in obtaining the miracle? What are the miracles of this incident?

3. 2010 Together For Him provides opportunities to serve persons. How can EU be more effective in serving others? What are some dangers that come with attempting to assist others? What are some blessings that can come from our efforts?

4. The wine that Jesus produced was said to be of the finest quality. What might this mean about the nature of Christian work?

5. Discuss how perfection, excellence, and doing your best relate to doing something for the Glory of God.
