Title:Now I See Text: John 9:1-15
1. Read the rest of the story John 9:13--41
2. Can anyone tell how a blind person you know has compensated for their lack of vision by increased dependence on their other senses?
3. If an illusion is a misperception of real sensory input; and if a hallucination is perception without real sensory input; and if a delusion is a belief that is out of touch with reality, then how can I know what is real?
How does this relate to our Christian faith? How do I know that Christianity is not an illusion, a hallucination, or a delusion?
4. Jesus said in John 9:5, “I am the light of the world.” What did He mean when he said (9:4) “Night is coming”?
5. The disciples of Jesus and the religious leaders were more interested in discussing and debating than they were interested in helping the blind man.
6. Jesus saw the blind man as a person; a person who was also blind. There is more to a person than a certain disability, problem, or circumstance.
How can we learn to see people with the eyes of Jesus?
7. What are the implications of the statement “Now I see”?
