2. 1. John 13:1 says, “Jesus knew the time had come for him to leave this world and go to the Father”. How does a sense of destiny/mission/purpose enable people to make transitions even though the transition may involve change and/or pain? What can help a person to know when they have done all they can do; gone as far as they can go?

1. 2. Peter resisted letting Jesus wash his feet. What might Peter have been thinking? How can I tell when my humility is pretentious?

1. 3. When making arrangements for the Passover Meal apparently Peter and John neglected to enlist someone to wash the feet of those attending. How does missing a detail impact a group experience? What are some details of worship services?
