Do You Trust Me?

Text: John 14:1

1. Discuss what trust is. Discuss what trust is NOT. Discuss the relation between faith and trust.

2. What encourages/discourages trust? What keeps people from trusting God?

3. What makes a person/organization/government/church worthy of trust? What are some essential ingredients of trust?

4. A sign in a country store says, “In God we trust. All others pay cash.” Once someone has let you down, how do you recover trust? How can a person who had made mistakes regain trust?

5. Some banks include the word “trust” as a part of their name. What is implied in this advertising?
