Title: How To Grow in God’s Grace

Text: Galatians 2:1-10

1.Explain grace.  What is grace?  Make a list of words that describe God’s grace.

2.How might have the Jewish Christians responded to Titus…an uncircumcised gentile Christian?   What message did their response to Titus send to (1) Jews; (2) Christians?

3.How do Christians communicate God’s grace to self centered people where everyone seems to be self sufficient or is asking, “What can you do for me?  What can I get out of it?”

4.How could reflecting God’s grace affect complaining, criticism, gossiping, and fighting?

5.The Jewish Christians wanted gentiles to observe the Jewish rules, rituals, and traditions as a part of being a disciple of Jesus.  If we are saved by God’s favor when we submit in faith to Him, then what is the relationship between the rules, rituals, and traditions of the church?

6.What are the implications of what Paul said in 2:2 “…those who seemed to be leaders” and 2:6  “As for those who seemed to be important…

7.What is the significance of 2:10?  What does that have to do with church?
