HOPE

If You Belong To Christ" from Galatians 3:26-29

Question: In a world where ethnic, social, and gender differences separate people, how do Christians overcome these barriers?

Let's talk about it Sunday morning at East Unaka Christian Church.

Worship service begins at 9:45. Bible School groups meet at 11:00.

Here are some questions to stimulate thinking and learning about Sunday morning's message, "If You Belong To Christ" from Galatians 3:26-29.

  • 1. In Galatians 3:26 Paul wrote, "You are all sons...". What caused Paul to exclude daughters? What difference did it make then? What difference does it make today?
  •

  • 2. How does Satan use discrimination? What are some results of religious discrimination?
  •

  • 3. How can EUCC avoid discrimination? What are some practical steps we can take?
  •

  • 4. If there is no "pecking order" in the church, how then do we accomplish anything? Who are the supervisors and who are the workers? What are the better jobs?
  •

  • 5. What is there about being human that seems to make us prone to discriminating? What is there about being a follower of Jesus that causes us to avoid discriminating?
  •

  • 6. What are some opposites of discrimination?
