"What's It Worth?"

Text: Matthew 13:44-46

1. Have persons describe the kinds of things they have in storage and why these items are in storage? What is the psychology of storage? What are we thinking?

2. If you could have a successful yard sale, what would you do with the proceeds?

3. Describe the emotions that usually come with finding a good deal on something valuable?

4. What does it mean to "sell everything" for the kingdom of God? Is this strictly monetary? What else could you "sell"?

5. How do you determine value?

6. If you could change one thing about a pearl, what would you change?

7. What good are pearls? How is the Christian faith like/unlike a pearl?

8. What is there about being a Christian that makes it "a hard sell"...or, an "easy sell'?

9. If being a Christian is so valuable, then what kinds of things can we do to secure and protect it?
