- Rule keeping and people pleasing religion will not please God.
What does please God is Christ- like living as a result of your faith in Jesus who died so that you can live.
God loves you just the way you are, but He refuses to leave you that way.
He wants you to be just like Jesus.
Let's talk about it in the 9:45-11:30 worship service Sunday morning at East Unaka Christian Church, 1201 E. Unaka Avenue, Johnson City.
"DYING TO LIVE" is the title of the message in the "Grace-Full Living" series. Sunday's text is Galatians 2:15-21.
- The worship service will include presentations from this week's VBS.
- Bible School Classes will NOT meet.
- A lunch of taco salad and hot dogs will be provided at 11:30.
- If you wish, you are welcome to bring a dessert to the lunch.

Question: What do you do when you find yourself doing what you know you should not do or not doing what you know you should do?
Christians are told to continually seek God's approval in what we do and to correctly handle the word of truth. (II Timothy 2:15) Without out God's straight edge of truth, we are prone to fear, hypocrisy and legalism.

Pray for and participate in this gathering for worship and learning so that we can show our appreciation to God for his grace, mercy, and love.

I'll be teaching another lesson in the series "Grace-full Living". This Sunday's topic is "How To Grow in God's Grace". The text is Galatians 2:1-10.
Christians are both reservoirs and channels of God’s grace. You cannot keep for yourself that which you are not willing to share.
If you need it, seek it.
If you want it, show it.
If you have it, share it.

If what the apostles witnessed is true, then it is the most important thing that has ever happened in the history of the world.
If it is false, then it is the most outrageous lie ever perpetrated on the planet.
You cannot adopt a non-committal position.
The claims of Jesus Christ demand a decision.
Let’s Talk About it Sunday morning at 9:45 at East Unaka Christian Church, 1201 E. Unaka Ave, Johnson City. The message "Gamaliel: Deciding Not To Decide" from Acts 5:33-42 will cause each of us to examine our response to Jesus.
FYI: deciding not to decide is a fatal decision.
