Howard Hawk Willis vs. Jesus PDF Print E-mail
Thursday, March 18 2010 15:48

Howard Hawk Willis is charged with killing Adam Crismer and Samantha Leming in October 2002. Their bodies were found in a Johnson City rental storage unit.

Willis been jailed since his arrest and has successfully delayed coming to trial by a number of legal maneuvers, the most recent being filing a lawsuit against the judge which necessitated the judge reclusing himself from the case. Regardless of public opinion about the guilt or innocence of H.H.W., Americans have a court system where we are deemed innocent until proven guilty.

Of all the men who have ever lived, only ONE deserves the title “innocent.” Jesus was the only person to live His entire life without doing anything wrong. Yet, He was arrested, tried, convicted, tortured, and condemned to a death reserved for the worst of all criminals.

Question: How do you respond when you are accused but innocent?

Let’s talk about it Sunday morning in the 9:45 worship service at East Unaka Christian Church, 1201 E. Unaka Avenue, Johnson City. The message from John 18:12-24 will be "The Illegal Trial of an Innocent Man." We will meet Annas: The "godfather" of a religious mafia--Do Gooders Gone Bad. We will watch the Kangaroo Court ignore the rules so they could do what they want. Then, we will see what enabled Jesus to be calm & cool, even when being crucified. How'd He do that???

Let's talk about it.

Forward and upward,

Wayne
