Anyone who has ever been there knows when you’ve been to Ridgewood Restaurant. Your clothes reek of Ridgewood odor, stench, smell, fragrance, or aroma.
If it is true that we tend to take on the likeness of those with whom we associate, then how can non-Christians tell that we’ve been with Jesus?
Let's talk about it Sunday morning at 9:45 at East Unaka Christian Church, 1201 E. Unaka Avenue, Johnson City. The Jewish leaders took note that Peter and John "had been with Jesus". (Acts 4:13--22)

Jesus said, “make disciples…” (Matthew 28:19). He did not say “make converts to your own thoughts, opinions, preferences, methods.” Jesus never asks us to do something that He is unable to equip us to accomplish. When we recognize our dependence on Him, then God will exhibit His power. How exciting!
Let's talk about it Sunday morning at 9:45 at East Unaka Christian Church, 1201 E. Unaka Ave, Johnson City. From Acts 4:1-12 I'll be teaching on "What You Can Expect When You Witness".
This Mother's Day honor your earthly mother by worshiping your heavenly Father. A flower will be given to every lady present.

It was a happy hour in the first service at first church that was so filled with tornado-like sounds and fire-like flames dancing on their heads that observers said, “they are drunk.” What kind of church was this?
Question: How can we deal with cultural pressure to keep our Christian faith a quiet, personal, and private matter?
Let's talk about it Sunday morning at 9:45 at East Unaka Christian Church, 1201 E. Unaka Avenue, Johnson City. The message from Acts 2:1-13 will describe "The Cost of Pentecost".

It was a Kodak kind of place where tourists stopped to have their picture taken. Only a pathetic, pitiful beggar marred the picture. Then came John...and Peter.
Our greatest needs cannot be met by more money or possessions. It is in our obedient relationship with God that we find contentment, purpose, joy and peace.
Let's talk about it Sunday morning at 9:45 at East Unaka Christian Church,
1201 E. Unaka Avenue, Johnson City. From Acts 3:1-10, I'll be speaking on "The Man Who Asked for Alms and Got Legs: What Spirit-Filled Christians Do."
Jeff and Susan McNabb begin their ministries with us this Sunday. Jeff will be Associate Minister and his primary ministry is with young adults. Susan will be Worship Leader and helping us to connect with God through music.

One of the last things Jesus said while he was dying on the cross was, "It is finished". But it wasn't.
Let's talk about it Sunday morning at 9:45 at East Unaka Christian Church,
1201 E. Unaka Avenue in Johnson City.
The title of the message is "Seven Things Jesus Left Behind". (Acts 1:1-11)
It is the first in a series of message from The Acts of The Apostles which describes how followers of Jesus acted when Jesus went back to heaven.
