The authorities told you it's OK to be religious just don't talk about it, what would you do?
Freedom of religion will soon mean we are free to practice our religion with our thoughts and perhaps in private conversation. One of our own chief justices lamented that the court would have religion to be like "pornography," indulged only in private.
Today in America we need Christians who know what they believe, why they believe it, and how to live out their convictions. We need those who are willing to pay the cost of discipleship and obedience and to do so with joy.
If those in authority commanded you to keep your faith private, what would you do? Let's talk about it Sunday morning at 9:45 at East Unaka Christian Church, 1201 E. Unaka Avenue, Johnson City. The message "Go, Stand, Tell" from Acts 5:12-32 will challenge every believer.
Forward and upward,
Wayne
